Our Sales Team
Owner / Sales / Property Managment
My name is Doris Stremberg, and I was born and raised here in Crescent City on a dairy ranch my parents once owned. I received my bachelor’s degree from California State University, Chico in Sociology. I purchased my first investment property when I was 19 and achieved my real estate license when I was 21. I stepped from real estate sales and had my real estate appraisal company for 7 years. Kurt and I purchased our company in 1997 but the company has been in business since 1973. I enjoy working in all avenues of real estate.
We have two sons that went through Del Norte schools and on to higher education. Leif graduated from College of the Redwoods Police academy and soon joined the Army. He served 10 years and had two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He is now working for the National Parks and going to school. Kristian went to University of California Davis. He then joined the Peace Corp and served in Jamaica. He went to Concordia Lutheran University and achieved his Master’s in education and is now teaching at OMI in Oakland and currently in a Doctorate program. My personal back ground is well rooted in the community. Most of my family lives close by and I truly enjoy having those close family connections around me. I have volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, was on the Grand Jury 2013/2014 and currently on the executive Board of Realtors.
Every day I give thanks to have had the privilege to live in such a beautiful community. I enjoy my clients and look forward to showing them the beauty of our county and the people who live here.
I have lived in Del Norte County since 1955 and have been a Realtor here for the past 38 years. Married my lovely wife Louise in 1986 and we have two boys and six grandchildren. Prior to becoming a Realtor I graduated from Humboldt State with a BA degree and then became a general contractor for quite a few years before getting into real estate. I love helping people find the right property they are searching for whether it be a home or a business opportunity.
